Choose the Beach
In the Riviera Maya there are many beaches where you can celebrate your event, each with its own unique features and characteristics. Below you will find a brief overview of the different locations, to help you choose the one that best matches your style and desires
Playa del Carmen: Close to the city, easy to organize, convenient access from your resort, affordable prices, beautiful sea, spectacular bays with stunning light
Tulum: Very large beaches, mystical, famous, glamorous, more expensive, and beaches with tourists


Perfect Time for your ceremony
Time (8:00 – 10:00)
Soft, golden light, ideal for romantic photos.
Cooler temperatures and lower humidity.
Less crowded beaches, more intimate atmosphere.4

Late Afternoon (4:30 – 6:00 pm)
The most popular time: sunset light creates spectacular colors.
More magical and romantic atmosphere.
Great timing to continue with dinner or an evening celebration.
Ideal for those dreaming of a sunset wedding backdrop.
Not Recommended: Midday (11:30 am – 3:00 pm)
Strong sun and intense heat.

Private Venue
All the beaches in the Riviera Maya have public access, but a permit is required in order to hold a ceremony. It is very important to privatize the venue: no tourists, no noise, amazing atmosphere.
Beach Resort: In hotels, ceremonies are held where tourists stay, and the beaches are noisy and crowded; there is no privacy or magical atmosphere. The resort admits only external vendor with a big fee.
Private beach: Magical and intimate atmosphere, peace and tranquility, easy access for guests and vendors, flexible timing, no tourists, incredible views, and full event customization.
